Writers Sara Eliza Johnson andSusannah Nevison will read from their works on Wednesday, March 1st at the SaltLake City Public Library at 7:00 P.M. as part of the City Art ReadingSeries. SaraEliza Johnson’s poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in the NewEngland Review, Best New Poets 2009, Boston Review, CrabOrchard Review, Memorious, and elsewhere. She is the recipientof a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Award, a Winter Fellowship from the FineArts Work Center in Provincetown, and a work-study scholarship to the BreadLoaf Writers' Conference. Her first book, Bone Map, was selectedfor the 2013 National Poetry Series and will be published by Milkweed Editions. Susannah Nevison isthe author of Teratology (Persea Books, 2015), winnerof the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize in Poetry. New work can be found in, oris forthcoming from, Crazyhorse, 32 Poems, PublicPool, The Rumpus, and elsewhere, and she has been featuredon Verse Daily and Poetry Daily. She is therecipient of fellowships and scholarships from the Sewanee Writers Conferenceand the Civitella Ranieri Foundation. Currently, she is a Clarence Snow Fellowat the University of Utah, where she is a doctoral candidate. Most featuredreadings are followed by an open reading.
