[Fidos-announcements] City Council Candidate Endorsements

We had a great turnout at the FIDOS Candidate Forum! Thanks to all the
candidates who showed up, and to all the FIDOS who came to listen to their
responses.
The panel consisted of the following candidates:

– District 1, Carlton Christensen
– District 1, Leslie Reynolds-Benns
– District 3, Stan Penfold
– District 5, Jill Remington Love
– District 7, Soren Simonsen
– District 7, Lisa Adams

We are pleased to announce our endorsements in the Salt Lake City Council
Races. We are supporting all three incumbents based on their continued
support of our efforts to keep Parley's Historic Nature Park (aka Tanner
Park/the Gully) completely off leash. We are also endorsing one newcomer
based on his promises to support our cause.
