Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

With an unexpected improvement in the weather, an unexpected
antiquing trip erupted on Sunday, which was yesterday, and
explains the lateness of today's FOTD.

The image pictures a simple cubic minibrot with some not-so-
typical surroundings. The parent fractal is a Mandelbrot set
slightly stretched in the north-south direction on its west
side. Today's scene is located in a rather shallow part of
East Valley.

I named the image "Cubical Quadratic" because it contains
elements of both types of fractals. Then I rated it at a 6,
which is a fair rating.

The calculation time of 3-1/2 minutes is well within reason
except for those who simply find nothing of interest in
fractals, but those few will not be calculating the image to
begin with.

The skies cleared here at Fractal Central on Sunday and the
fractal cats' mood imporved at once. The temperature of 55F 13C
felt just about perfect for the middle of October.

My day was busy but not too unpleasant. The next FOTD will be
posted in about 12 hours, (no promise). Until next time, take
