MtMan-List: Wolf Hunting

Wow, the list is pretty dead.
I bought my wolf tag! Bought it mostly as a collectable to frame for
the wall of my man cave. Would I shoot a wolf? In a second. Season is
suppose to open up here soon. It's up to a judge now. They killed at
least one in Idaho so far.
I was up near Lincoln Montana last night and some campers told me they
heard wolves howling the night before. I'll go back there for grouse
and a wolf hunt later this month.
People say the wolves are a part of nature's perfect harmony. I suppose
the pine beetles are a part of natures perfect harmony too. But the
pine beetles have killed almost a third to half of the trees in some
areas.
Nature doesn't always do things real well. Do you ever notice that when
nature screws up things, they can always blame it on humans somehow.
It's been a good summer in Montana. No big fires. Looks like it will be
a good fall hunt. Good luck to everyone.
