Hi Mike,
What type of head did the bolts you use have? I've removed one of my
bolts and can't seem to find anyone who has a bolt in this size with a head
that's meant to be counter-sunk. I'm guessing that the bolts in my boat are
metric? A 5/8 course is close but not quite right. CCI Fasterners:

..has a silicon-bronze bolt in 5/8 course but they only have these in a
carriage head. I'm pretty tempted to get these, cut a shallow slot in the
head to hold the bolt with a screwdriver while these are tightened, and give
them a try. The carriage bolt should have a thinner head them a standard hex
head bolt.

I recently replaced the keel bolts on my Victory 21. A local nut and bolt
shop was able to find a set of 6 SS bolts along with nuts and washers for
around $285. I seem to remember finding only one source on the web but
can't remember the company's name, sorry, the price was about the same
though.
