We have scheduled the next NPO board meeting for Wednesday, March 18, 5:30 PM. We are inviting all interested orchestra members, family, friends and strangers who are interested in helping the orchestra. There are board positions open as well as a need for temporary help with performances and other activities. We would like to plan a reception for our final concert of the season, but to accomplish it we will need lots of help. Thanks to the few who have done so much. Please let us know if there is the slightest chance any family members or friends would be able to help us plan, prepare or serve at the reception, help with ticket sales, publicity, taking notes at board meeting, running errands, making phone calls, making contacts, writing grants, or organizing music folders. We need people to help with fundraisers - there are DVD's of orchestra performances available for us to sell, but no one to handle it. The most pressing item right this minute is the reception - could your spouse help prepare and serve some cookies? Do you have a child of eleven or twelve who could help pour punch? or could help us set up the refreshments so that we can serve more efficiently than we did last time? Who would contact the school to find out if we can even do this and who would be willing to stay after and help clean up? Who would assign out the napkins, etc? Who would help with invitations to community leaders? HELP!!!
