Man From ORGAN - definitely. What a great record.
Just about everything by The Great Ed Lincoln. One of his albums was
issued on a now-discontinued CD, and it's still available for download
on iTunes, but the record I had on Podsville has never made it to CD.
Mavis Rivers Meets Shorty Rogers
"I Remember You" swings so hard I just have to lie down for a while
after I listen to it.
We Dig Mancini - Anita Kerr Quartet
This one's still on Podsville.
Jazz Raga - Gabor Szabo
San Franciscan Nights - Living Guitars
Somebody on this list long ago called it the greatest lounge guitar
record ever made, and I wouldn't argue.
I was going to add Mundell Lowe's "TV Action Jazz" to my list, but a
search on Amazon turned it up. Good news there. And the original Missa
Luba. Also The Versatile Henry Mancini, which is available on a rather
strange CD with each track in both stereo and mono.
Incidentally I have very nice-sounding CDs of that record as well as
Martin Denny's "A Taste Of Honey" and Kai Winding's "More!" which I
ordered some years ago from a link provided by someone on this list.
They're on the "Dynotone Records" label and they're CD-Rs, so obviously
they were released in very limited quantity.
It seems that a lot of material on the Reprise label has never seen the
laser light of a CD dawn, including a sort of Christmas sampler called
" Frank Sinatra And His Friends Want You To Have Yourself A Merry Little
Christmas." (I always feel like snickering at that title - Franks wants
you to *what* yourself??) Some cuts have ended up on CD compilations,
but others haven't. Here's a download of the LP rip if you'd like to
hear it:

Thanks Jeff, that was a good thread-starter. I hope it trickles along
for a while.
