Hello orchestra members!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday - there is no rehearsal November 25. But keep practicing, because on the first Tuesday in December, December 2, we start up regular Tuesday rehearsals again. December 9 will be the dress rehearsal for the Nebo Philharmonic Orchestra Christmas concert, which is on Friday, December 12, 8:00 pm at the American Leadership Academy in Spanish Fork (call time is 7:00). You know by now that we will be playing Christmas carols for the audience to sing along, and it should be a fun concert. Posters should be ready soon for you to help distribute.
Then - no break! - Rehearsal Tuesday, Dec 16, will be at ALA with the Nebo Chorale and the bell ringers to prepare for our concert with them on the next night, Dec 17, at 7:30 - that concert is FREE. THEN you get another break!
Extra special thanks to orchestra members who are spreading the word to other instrumentalists, resulting in people calling to audition and join the orchestra. Keep your ears open to help us find other people who might be willing to help in other ways, too, like writing grants or forming an orchestra guild. We would be happy to talk to anyone who shows any interest in the orchestra.
