Randy

I would...but only if a new owner didn't want or need it... Like the boat,
the cover is old but still functional. I have restiched it several times
when the stitching deteriorates in the sun and it is ready in some places
again. Have you thought of making one? You could use mine as a template if
you wanted to...

All the best-

Kevin

Kevin, I own #383 at MBYC, would you consider selling just the cover
separately?
I will also pass the word around that it is for sale.

Victory 481 for sale

...to someone who will use it more than we do...

the good news:
- a great boat
- race winning record (won Nationals twice, latest in 2004)
- always dry-sailed, has never been left in the water, ever
- never painted; has original gelcoat (could shine again!)
- in good sailing condition now
- one of the last boats with the "old" deck style
- North sails, Harken blocks, adjustable backstay, full boat cover, etc.
- $750 or best offer

the bad news:
- fiberglass around keel is beginning to crack; will need repair at some
point soon...
- trailer is functional but needs weld repair in some areas
- North sails are functional but too old for top-of-the-fleet racing
- lifting sling attachment point is rusted

This would be a perfect boat for someone who has the skills to accomplish
the repairs needed and who might be interested in racing as it is a very
competitive hull.

I won't sell it to someone who plans to keep it in the water (it would be a
crime!).

The boat is located in the San Diego area (Coronado Yacht Club). Please
call or email if you are interested. Pictures available.
