In your experience, what is the minimum practical batch size for
experimenting with new recipes, and how do you mix it in very small quantities?
We usually make soap (cold-process) in batches of 4-6 lb at a time
but would like to do some experimenting with the base recipe(s)...I'm
struggling to figure out how to mix it in small batches...(we
normally use an electric hand-whipper for saponification)
