I always use the Lye Calculator
(http://www.thesage.com/calcs/lyecalc2.php) to determine how much lye to
use, but a rough estimate is 2 oz of sodium hydroxide per pound of
oils. You have enough lye to make somewhere between 15 and 16 pounds of
soap. I tend to make 2 to 4 pound batches, so this would be 4 to 8
batches for the way I make soap. Your mileage may vary.
