First off, you have posted succcessfully, so that's a good start! the
address is soap@???

I can't comment on the plastic bags except that I have seen soap
packaged in plastic wrap for years (especially glycerine based soaps)
so if properly cured, I suspect there is no problem. Granted, Plastic
isn't all that eco-friendly, so one may have to weigh the use of
plastic containment against one's own moral stance on the use...

Finally, wrt to palm oil, I have had the least problems with
rancidity when using palm and coconut oils, but as has been mentioned
previously (you would not ahve seen these being new) by other
members, one of the most important things to consider wrt an oil
*causing the soap to go rancid is the shelf life of the oil used to
make your soap in the first place. That is, use fresh ingredients to
minimize associated problems. There are other causes like improper
curing, but you'll need to read up on that by doing a net search on
the following "DOS and soap making" to investigate further.

I'd be interested in hearing from others regarding insurance as
well...I have sometimes wondered about legal responsibilities of soap
making/selling....guess it's time to go back to the net for another
infosearch! Lol, it never ends...

regards,

Andrew
