Funny coincidence ...My father's family lived in Elmhurst from the
early 1960s until 2003, just a stone's throw from your town...Also
had a friend whose moved from here in NE Ohio to Mt Prospect back in
the early 1980s...It really is a small world after all!
BTW, though you probably already know this, make certain it's 100%
lye....we accidently purchased a can of what we thought was lye early
on in our soap making and found that it wasn't in the worst
way...nearly kilt ourselves what with the acid off-gassing when we
mixed it with water...
