Dave,

You are welcome to participate in any ride posted on the Bonneville Cycling Club (BCC) calendar -- club membership although appreciated is not required. Last year we had 20 or so riders do the Willard Bay ride. We will start from the Junior High School in Centerville at 9am. To get there take the Centerville exit and go east on Parrish LN to the third or fourth light, which should be Main St. Turn right on Main St and go .8 miles. The school is on the left and we'll be setting up in the rear parking lot. If you are traveling from the north to get to Centerville and want to save the gas, you have a option to start from any point along the route and ride south until you meet the main group. The full century route takes us to the Flying J Auto Plaza in Willard (east side of the I-15 exit to the Willard Bay State Park. We should get to the Flying J between 1030 and 1100 and will stop for 20-30 minute to eat and re-group before heading back. The weather looks perfect.

I look forward to meeting and riding with you!

John

John,

Can riders who are not current members of BBC join you for this ride? Also, How many riders do you expect, and what will the pace be?

Thanks,
Dave

[Thanks Don]

Hello all,

Here's the tenative cue sheet for the Willard Bay Superseries route. I say tenative only because I have't surveyed or marked the North 40 yet. Its pretty much the same course that Don led us on last year with one minor detour to get around "missing overpass obsticle" at Glover Ln. So this year we'll be crossing the interstate via the State Street overpass in Farmington just south of Lagoon.

For those new to this particular ride, we'll meet in the rear parking lot of the Centerville Junior High School at 8:30 for signup and pre-ride meeting. We will roll out by 9:00. It's always a good idea to have some cash for lunch and re-fueling along the way.

See you Saturday!

Finally the Superseries Season kicks off - This saturday - April 19 its Willard Bay

Temps right now indicate its going to be a tights-all-day thing but no rain is anticipated.

Remember 7 events earns a year-end award - and everyone gets to see the 2007 awards Sunday at the Membership meeting - so come Sunday dont be wishing you had ridden the day before when the cool 07 awards are unveiled.

Several opportunities remain to lead an event - Up n Over, Nebo, Taterville, Upland and McMemorial Day are taken but other good ones remain. And how many can say they have ridden through Eureka?

Questions?
