[CKF Coalition] PACKARD GRANT UPDATE

Friends -



I just wanted to let you know that Voices for Utah Children was not selected
as one of the six state grantees for the Packard Finish Line project. We
were one of 12 states that received a one-year grant in October from the
Foundation and, as a result, were invited to apply for the multi-year Finish
Line project. Please know how much we appreciated your help, encouragement,
and letters of support for our proposal.



As you may already know, it was also a disappointing week for the Utah
Health Policy Project. They received notice from the Robert Wood Johnson
Foundation that they were not selected for the Consumer Voices for Coverage
grant.



We have a strong work plan for the next year to help move us closer to the
goal of health coverage for all children in Utah. Again, thank you.
