Fractint (and Xfractint and Winfract) version 20.4 patch 7 is now
available on the developer's web sites:

What's new:
Added feature to write the base map name to the first line of the file
when a map file is saved and the only change has been a rotation of the
palette. The base map name is then read in and used as the current map
name when the new map file is restored.
The recordcolors=comment command line option has been modified to not
create a comment line in PARs. Two colors= entries are now created with
the first one in the format colors=@fname.map and the second in the
format colors=000<24>0n0...010. When a PAR entry is read, the first
colors= sets the map name, and the second colors= effectively rotates
the colors.
Updated the Xfractint Makefile to install using sudo instead of as root.
