Sadly, Larry, you are not correct. When you follow the link to go to
the new discussion board, under the Welcome to the AML Discussion
Board thread, there is a topic titled "Contributor or AML Member?"
The post in this section reads:
Everyone and anyone are welcome to visit us here at the AML
Discussion Board and read what is posted here.
If you would like to create a topic or post a reply in the
Introduction Forum, and the Discussions, Reviews, and Announcement
Categories, you will need to do more than just register.
You need to be a member of the Association for Mormon Letters.
You can join AML by going to the AML Website at
http://www.mormonletters.org/join.html where we have Paypal or you
may print out the page and mail it to us with a check.
Contributors, who are not AML members, may post Introductions,
Reviews, or Announcements.
Everyone needs to be registered with your real name as your user name.
We look forward to your joining us and sharing ideas, opinions, and
information.
(Back to Jonathan): This actually does address a couple of my
concerns, such as whether non-AML members can post reviews and
announcements. It appears that this will still be possible. However,
it will not be possible to take part in the ongoing discussion
back-and-forth--at least if I have interpreted this message correctly.
