History does not have to repeat itself. We do not have to continue
slamming each other's rhetoric in the ground believing that either
will change their mind to accommodate the other's point of view. I
got what I think out - and it was a lot of steam, and it felt good,
because I have some _very_ hot contention against a lot of the ideas I
think are implicit and explicit in your rhetoric - and you've returned
your steam, and I could argue with it until I'm blue in the face (to
what extend you have only guessed), but most importantly, we both feel
vindicated and justified, and we can just let that simmer into the
next century, because I have better things to do. Or, if you can
recount to me the last time someone changed your mind ;) I'll tell you
the last time someone changed my mind, and things might get more
encouraging. .. Except that I have better things to do.
