Well then how is a person to judge whether or not someone is a reliable
narrator? If you and I are looking at a dog and when you describe it you
say, "it has two legs, feathers and a yellow bill" then I can definitely
say, "I don't think I can rely on Thom's description of things because here
I see a dog and he is describing a duck." Simple as that. Yes, I
understand that people experience things differently but when you are
handing out urban legends and calling them facts (loved that being pointed
out in the Sunstone review) then I do reserve the right to say, "Hey, that
doesn't jibe with my experience."
