Is the book not subtitled a personal view or words to that affect? Taken in
that light, I thought it interesting that in your review, you kept referring
to her unreal version of reality, especially with regard to the Church. No
one has an identical understanding of what the true nature of Mormonism is
past maybe the high-level things. We shouldn't expect Beck's experiences to
"be" the way the Church really is, but neither should we discount it because
it doesn't jibe with our own experience.
