Just when I thought the responses about pornography would be fairly standard, Stephen Carter says something that made me want to applaud. Stephen, I think you are exactly right in your assessment.

A book about this subject is: CHAMBERLAIN, Mark, Ph.D., _Wanting More: The Challenge of Enjoyment in the Age of Addiction_. Mark Chamberlain, aside from being one of my favorite human beings on the planet, is a wonderful LDS therapist in Salt Lake City. If I lived in Utah, I would make up something I needed therapy for to get some of his time and insights.

At a recent conference in SLC, he did a great presentation called, "Radical Self-Acceptance." I presented at the same conference. Before his session, I asked him, "What is the 'radical' part of radical self-acceptance?" He said, "All of it. Accepting everything about yourself."

Our modern frenzied lifestyle, in my opinion, is the deeper cause of the rampant sexual problems. Of course, adultery and related behavior are not new things. What is new is the way it is expressed--frenzied, incontinent, and impersonal.
