My associate hauls largers loads for $4/mile. For 1,500 books, are you
talking 1500 lbs? In that case a pickup would do for approx 50 cents/mile or
$800.

Toward the end of December, a British publisher I'm working with needs
to move 1,500 large-sized books from Long Beach, CA, to Salt
Lake/Provo. The Chinese printer wants another $1,500 to arrange that,
which seems excessive. Anyone know any other options?
(Maybe someone on the list is spending the holidays at Disneyland and
wouldn't mind driving down their moving van instead of the motorhome?)
