Subject: Information for Brenda about hives

I couldn't get this to post -- but... could you forward this to Brenda? I couldn't find her email address -- I am new to the forum! LOL --Can you tell!
I'm not sure that I am posting this correctly but this message is for Brenda.
I went through years of miserable hives like you are describing. I got some relief from the combination of zyrtec and zantac (a stomach pill) my allergist prescribed this and it controlled it.
Years later I found out that the hives can be caused from a hormone imbalance including thyroid; mine was estrogen and progesterone. You may want to have your doctor check your hormone levels. I always suspected this because I would always get a horrible case of hives right before my period and once they started it was horrible to get them to calm down. After menopause I never get hives anymore, even though I am still allergic to many things.
My heart goes out to you! Anyway, this is what worked for me. Oh! I also related anti-inflammatory's like aspirin and motrin
