[BBTC Ride_calendar] Season update

Check your calendars There are only 101 days left in the 2008 Club season. For this middle leg of the summer, the season of bicycampling begins.

Over the next 3 weeks or so, there are 3 events of bicycampling, basically is European for “camp, Eat, then ride”.
This Thursday the 26th the mad rush for available camping spots starts at the Cache Valley Fairgrounds for the MS 150. We are currently planning on starting with 4 trailer/RV spots , Ryan Carter or Doug Jenson need to know if more are interested in staying at fort Bonneville for the weekend.
July 3rd at Hyrum State Park we already have space set aside for 1 van 1 pickup and trailer and 1 RV with two tent spaces holding not more than 6 or so people still up for grabs. Smoked food that’s bad for you will be on the menu for the evening meal in preparation for Taterville, the No 6 Superseries for the season goes from Wellsville on July 4th. Jen and Ben say a new route can be expected this year.

July 12 is the night before Mt Nebo and the last opportunity until ULCER to get in your bicycampling for the year. If you’re interested in July 3 or 12 let me know, but remember space is extremely limited.

Thanks to all the folks who turned out for todays Up N Over/Turn Left 100 A very Special thanks to Eric Dupuis for leading this event. Due to the horrendous traffic on I-80 we had the rare treat of semi’s on Big Mountain, in the opposite lane as we climbed back over. For those who cut it short – please make sure Eric has your correct mileage – We wouldn’t want credit for something we didn’t do – would we?
