That's cool. You're definitely on the more positive extreme. On the other
side of the spectrum, lies a former roommate of mine who, at one time, was
as big a fan as I. He went to one of last summer's European shows and left,
utterly disgusted, prior to the last encore. I believe his email to me went
something along the lines of, "I hope they never, EVER, reform again."
Obviously, he had a very negative reaction.
My own feelings are somewhere in the middle. Would I like to go to another
Police show? Certainly. Will I spend the $$$ to do so? No. I'd rather
spend that money to see a few more Crowded House shows - as with that band
(to me) one show is not nearly enough.
