[CANSLIM] Intro: Nick Pandiscio

I just wanted to introduce myself to the mailing list. My name is Nick Pandiscio and I am an engineer working in New York City and living in Hoboken, NJ. I have been involved in stock investing since last November and have been reading IBD every day since December on the advice of an old roommate (who is a professional trader.)

As with most new investors, my performance hasn't been all that good yet but I see this as a learning experience. I've been good about cutting my losses (which has really protected me) and I am looking forward to becoming more proficient with using CAN SLIM. Many of my failed trades were because I failed to follow all the rules (such as buying an overextended stock or buying when the market was not in a clear uptrend.) I have read all of William O'Neils book's on CAN SLIM and I am starting to reread them again.

I'm looking forward to learning from the more experience investors on this list, and hopefully as I gain more experience I will be able to contribute something constructive to the discussion.
