Latino motivational seminar scheduled in Midvale Published: May 9, 2008
Latino youths and parents are invited to a motivational seminar today at 6 p.m. at Hillcrest High School, 7350 S. 900 East in Midvale. "Viviendo Mis Suenos" (Living my Dreams) is aimed at encouraging youths to pursue higher education through a discussion of education and challenges Latinos face. Participants include Latino community and business leaders, along with university faculty and students. The event is free and will be conducted in Spanish. It is sponsored in partnership with the Scoutreach program of Boy Scouts of America and Proyecto Latino de Utah.
