Dear Friends & Supporters,
As you all know, sinking lake levels have proven to be a flashpoint on our long journey to gaining permanent protections for Glen Canyon. It is support from people like you who have helped us get us to where we are today, and in this extremenly exciting time, push our story to the forefront of national media. For that, we cannot express our deepest gratitude enough.
We now stand on the brink of gaining permanent protections for Glen Canyon and we wanted you to know about two hot news stories.
Glen Canyon Institute will be on 60 Minutes Two (Wednesday edition) tonight. This airing will feature footage of recently emerged areas in Glen Canyon, including Cathedral in the Desert. This is the perfect opportunity to get your friends involved in helping us to protect Glen Canyon. Please forward this announcement on to all of your friends, neighbors, relatives, and fellow lovers of canyon country so we can continue to get the word out to an ever-greater audience.

Ask your friends to donate $50, $20, $10 or whatever they can give today so we can continue to work diligently for permanent protection of the river corridor we all hold so dear. Every dollar will help us get out a mailing, make a critical phone call or help send us back to our Nation's capital to meet with key decision makers.
