| About Exotica | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Exotica mailing list is a forum for people interested in unusual music, primarily that from the 1950s and 1960s. There is no hard and fast definition of "Exotica" as the distinction is primarily in the eye (and ear!) of the collector. Artists and topics such as Perez Prado, Esquivel, industrial-convention theme albums, production library music, Polynesiana, cool sleeve designs, thrift-store finds, and so forth are regular staples. New members are encouraged to lurk for a few days to get a feel for the list before posting.
To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Exotica Archives. |
